If you or a loved one is battling cancer or is a child with medical hair loss, we invite you to apply for a Warrior Wig Award. This award provides up to $2,000 for each recipient, which can be used at any of our approved vendors for a custom wig, accessories, or hair care products.

As Warrior Wigs continues to grow, we want to ensure that every woman who applies has the opportunity to receive help through the program. Because of this, Warrior Wigs has instituted an award expiration policy to help us steward our funding responsibly and serve as many women as possible. Recipients must schedule their appointment by the date listed in their award email (within 3 weeks of award notification). If an appointment is not scheduled by this date, the funds will be temporarily released back into the Warrior Wigs program to serve others in need. Please note— this does not remove or cancel your award if not scheduled within the timeline. Once you’re in a place to move forward, you’ll be added to the top of our queue, and as soon as funding becomes available again, you’ll be the first to receive it. We understand that everyone’s journey is different, and we want to walk alongside you with grace and flexibility.

Prior to downloading or completing the application, please review all Warrior Wig guidelines.

 1. The wig or anything additionally purchased with the "Warrior Wig" Award provided is non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be converted to cash. It is sold "as is" and may not be returned or exchanged for any reason.

 2. Recipients must choose from our approved vendor list to redeem their Warrior Wig Award. The award can only be used at one vendor, and it cannot be split between multiple vendors. However, there is a wide variety of services, styles, and options available, both online and in-store, to ensure that every warrior can find the perfect fit for their needs.

 4. A submitted application does not guarantee the receipt of a wig, as the organization receives thousands of applications daily and allocations are subject to availability and eligibility.

 5. We will need to verify eligibility for the wig, so a copy of a medical record showing your cancer diagnosis, a letter from your oncologist or healthcare provider confirming your diagnosis and/or ongoing treatment, or any other official documentation from a medical professional that confirms your condition and need for support is required with your application.

6. If you have health insurance, we ask that you please take a moment to check whether your plan covers cranial prosthetics (wigs prescribed for medical reasons).

7. Please note that if you choose to schedule an appointment with one of our approved vendors before being awarded, you will be responsible for handling payment at that time, and if awarded in the future, a wig cannot be refunded.
